About SACA

The Suncoast Association of Chinese American (SACA) was established in 1982 as a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) charitable organization in Florida. The purpose of SACA is to provide cultural and social connections among Chinese Americans, and to encourage appreciation of Chinese culture and history for everyone. SACA does not promote specific political, religious or ideological views. SACA’s activities are funded by dues, proceeds of fundraising events and the generosity of donors and sponsors. Through the dedicated efforts of volunteers, the organization hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year. SACA is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors who are elected by the membership.
